Pre-UU Team Empty
PostSubject: Pre-UU Team   Pre-UU Team Icon_minitime1Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:58 pm

I know there is no tiers yet, but this is a random team I strung together with pokemon I saw for the NM temporary tier list. I can't post the link to strict rules so sorry.
Pre-UU Team 558
Iwaparesu (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock/Spikes
- Toxic
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
Iwaparesu might not be a viable lead but it has access to Stealth Rock/Spikes and there is not that many entry hazards lately so it will be easy to setup on the opponent. Toxic is just there for status and it will probably have a chance to pull off a EQ or a X-Scissor.

Pre-UU Team 617
Agirudaa (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Sticky Hold
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- U-turn
- Focus Blast
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Water]
This bug although not have the best movepool, has an amazing speed and special attack base stat. This makes it a good option for revenge killing in UU. U-turn is for the obvious scout purpose, and Focus Blast is for power. Bug Buzz is STAB and Hidden Power Water can kill all 3 of Agirudaa's weaknesses.

Pre-UU Team Spr_5b_573
Chirachiino (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Rock Blast
- Bullet Seed
- Sweep Slap
- U-turn
You may be like: "OMG CHIRACHIINO IS SOO WEAK NOOB!" or "Why two choiced pokemon ewww." Well Technician is a great ability to have with Chirachiino! With moves like Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, and STAB Sweep Slap with the technician boost, with the scouting U-Turn, Chirachiino can be a big threat in UU with a Choice Band.

Pre-UU Team 113
Chansey (F) @ Evolution Stone
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Counter
- Softboiled
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss
I know what you are thinking, why do I have counter on chansey? Well with the evolution stone, Chansey is VERY physical bulky and is able to reflect every physical attack except for STAB fighting moves. Softboiled is the healing move and toxic/seismic toss is Chansey's main weapon against special pokemon.

Pre-UU Team 591
Morobareru (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Regeneration
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 104 Def / 4 SAtk / 104 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Protect
- Clear Smog
- Synthesis
- Payback
The main reason I chose this pokeball is because of clear smog. Most of these pokemon are easy to set up on so clear smog is going to stop the in their tracks. With STAB Clear Smog it can at least do a little damage. With a lot of HP, Morobearu has a lot to payback and kill the opponent.

Pre-UU Team Spr_5b_350_m
Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Just a simple RestTalk set is all this is.

I know this team sucks, but it is just the gist of when I am thinking D:
